Celebrate culture, community, heritage, and history at the 36th Annual Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival in Annapolis, This year's festival is on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 12:00 PM–7:00 PM at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The theme for this year is, “Our Roots. Our Story, ” honors 50 years of Roots and the enduring importance of preserving and celebrating African American heritage. Enjoy live music and performances, cultural demonstrations, a marketplace, arts and crafts, food, educational activities, a farmers initiative with free local produce, and a children’s activity tent.
