Annapolis is hosting its 6th Annual Juneteenth festival on June 20, 2026, at the Bates Sport Complex, celebrating freedom, culture, and community. This festival brings together people from all walks of life to commemorate June 19th—the day enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas first learned of their freedom in 1865.
Expect to find and enjoy a parade, local vendors, cultural performances, and family-friendly activities that celebrate African American heritage and traditions. End the evening with fireworks lighting up the night sky.
